Last day in Adare, Ireland   1/9/2009

 Our last full day in Adare was spent visiting Lough Gur - a site full of bronze age settlements including an ancient tomb, forts and the remains of dwellings. There was also a standing stone circle - the biggest in Europe.
Last evening by the peat fire.
Too quickly our week in Adare was up and it was with a heavy heart we left Jenny, David, our cosy cottage and Hector the dog - actually not Hector, he drools!

    Following you all the way and enjoying it as though I were with you. Had the gardener in this am. He pulled up my freezers!!! Should have been watching.. Keep well.Lots of love MaryXX
