Last days in Hue

We had a fantastic time in Hue with Alexander and Mary, but too soon the week was up and it was time to move on.
A temple by the Perfume River.

The closest gate into old town for Alexander and Mary's house.

Bill joins the traffic on the bridge.

Travelling like a local.

The Hue Royal Antiquities Museum, contains treasures from the Dynasty in 1802.

Mary admiring the bonsai.

Inside.

A gown for an Emperor.

This urn has bullet holes dating from the Vietnam War.
Young girl wearing a lovely ao dai.
Most women are covered from head to toe to protect them from the sun. It must be so hot in the humid climate.
Farewell to Hue cocktails on this lovely terrace.

Floating restaurant.

Cheers!

What a colour.
Cheers again!
Lovely views over the river as the sun goes down. In the foreground is the hotel we stayed in last time we were in Vietnam.
