We took a train trip to just across the border into Italy, to a town called Ventimiglia.
The train trip was lovely, but once there it became a bit overcast and the beach was the usual stones.
We had a great pizza, went to gelateria, pastecheria and bought some limoncello, so we were happy.
Too soon our week in Nice was coming to an end so we visited the market institution Terresa for some of her traditional Nicoise socca made from chickpea flour. Yuck, threw it in the bin!
So, time for a last meal on the place Rossetti.
We had tomato socca the other night made by zoe. It was delicious.
