Cycle days 5 and 6 - to Sepulveda and mountain bike riding.

We caught up to this horse riding group. It seemed so Spanish.

The long and winding road.

Well, we started at Segovia and finish at Sepulveda, so we must be on the right track.

First glimpse of Sepulveda from a mirador. Just down and up again and we're there.

What's behind this door?

It's the Posada de San Millan, our home for two nights and the most charming yet.

The decorations were amazing.

Stairs up to our room.

The balcony on the first floor.

Plaza de Espana, Sepulveda.

12th Century Ingles Santa Maria de la Pena.

The Duraton River Gorge.

Looking down cross the village.

What a window!

Our last ride on this trip was a a rough ride on a track by the Duraton River.

Ruins of a Roman bridge.

A non Roman bridge.
The track.

An exhausted Judith and Joy enjoy a well deserved picnic lunch.

Ever onwards.

These are the lovely Norweigans who followed the same trip as us. Actually, truth be, we were always trailing them.

First ride over and all's well. Off go our bikes and we head for the train in Madrid to take us to Barcelona and then on to Ripoll for our second biking adventure.
