Musee National Marc Chagall, Musee Henri Mattise, a visit to Norbert and Villefranche-sur-Mer.

Mark Chagall Adam and Eve's Expulsion from Paradise at the Musee National Marc Chagall.

The paintings are very engaging.

Henri Matisse - a tapestry.

A visit to Norbert's house overlooking Beaulieu-sur-Mer and St-Jean-Cap-Ferrat. Norbert's wife, Hedy, is a friend of Joy's from Telopea School and Norbert did a brilliant job of painting our house. He is now doing up their holiday house on the French Rivera, with nothing short of million dollar views.

Looking towards Beaulieu-sur-Mer.

The king of his domain, with St-Jean-Cap-Ferrat in the background.

Norbert also overlooks Villa La Leopolda, an estate once owned by King Leopold II of Belgium. It has over 50 full time gardeners to tend its park-like setting and is the second most expensive property in the world.

Vilefrance-sur-Mer is also quite close to Norbert's house.

It is a beautiful little harbour town with steep, narrow streets sweeping down to a pretty harbour.

The Rue Obscura, a covered lane running about 100 metres along the medieval rampart.

A door knocker.
